About the Club

St Barnabas Football Club, home of The Flames, is based out of St Barnabas Anglican Church, Broadway. Locals call it Barneys. In the 1930s, a man named Arthur Stace visited the church, and was so moved by the good news of Jesus that he chalked the word eternity all over Sydney for decades to come. We are driven as a club by the same good news of Jesus.

We are a club for everyone. As a club we prioritise the enjoyment of football as a gift from God, regardless of the result. We also pride ourselves on playing tough, competitive and fair football.
